Themar Heights SRS

Themar Heights SRS is registered with and regulated by the Social Service Regulator. We deliver

services in a way that is consistent with the principles and standards set out in the Social Service

Regulation Act 2021, Social Service Regulations 2023 and Social Service (Supported Residential

Services) Regulations 2024.

Facility Introduction:

Themar Heights located at 65 Koroit St, Warrnambool, just about 5 minutes’ walk from the CBD and

10 minutes’ walk to the beautiful beaches.

Themar Heights has 22 shared rooms and 1 single room, each room contains build in wardrobes, toilet

and shower room. The room is fitted with essential furniture, such as appropriate bed and bedding,

bedside table, wardrobe/drawers, chairs and essential toiletries. Talk to our Manager to find out what

will be in your room and what you can bring.

Themar Heights is your home away from home. We understand moving into a shared environment

can be frightening, at Themar Heights, you will be able to personalize your room with small items

like photos or keepsakes. It may even be possible to take some small pieces of furniture such as a

favorite chair or your own desktop computer.

What service we provide:

Themar Heights is staffed during 7am – 7 pm and non active sleep over for 7 pm- 7 am. We provide

a low level of care to the people who would like to maintain the independence

These Services are to meet your day-to-day needs and maintain the SRS home you live in.

1. Meals and refreshments

Healthy, well-balanced meals with a variety of foods. Generally three meals a day, plus

morning tea, afternoon tea. Special dietary requirements to meet medical, cultural or

religious beliefs will be accommodated.2. Laundry

Personal and heavy laundry services to cover all your belongings.

3. Social activities

A variety of group social activities are provided, both in-house and in the community. These

will be designed to protect your dignity and enable you to take part in life outside the SRS

services. A few examples are group shopping trips, bingo games, and arts and crafts sessions.

These can be tailored to meet your needs, wishes, and abilities.

4. Medication supervision

If you have trouble to administrate your own medication, our staff will help to administrate

your medication according to your doctor’s instruction. Your medication will be packed by a

qualified pharmacist in the webster pack and delivered to Themar Heigths on weekly basis.

If you prefer to administrate your own medication, you MUST obtain an approval letter from

your prescribing doctor.

5. Help in emergencies

Assistance in situations such as a health emergency, need for an ambulance, or an

evacuation. This includes 7am-7pm everyday with staff on the floor and after 7pm a staff

member will be in the manager’s residence doing non-active sleep over.
